Studioszene 2.0 – XPOST, Cologne, Germany
With its first edition, Studioszene has established itself as a refreshingly lively event and new international meeting place for producers, engineers and manufacturers. Last year, products from well over 100 brands were thoroughly tested and detailed discussions were held with product specialists and developers – all on an exhibition space of almost 3,000 m2. The two-day programme was complemented by more than 50 top-class workshops and panel discussions, in which Sylvia Massy, Mick Guzauski, Peter Walsh, Nico Rebscher, Wolfgang Stach and Hans-Martin Buff – real audio industry heavyweights – spoke about recording, production and mastering.

Now the cat is out of the bag! Studioszene 2020 will take place on September 18th and 19th, again at XPOST Cologne and again with an attractive workshop programme, premium speakers and the audio industry’s top brands. Save the date!
Workshops and Discussions 2020
This year’s event will again include our Discussion Forum as well as three workshop rooms: »Master Class Room«, »Sound&Recording Room« and »Gear Room«. In the »Master Class Room«, engineers will hold 90-minute workshops and present one of their productions. In the »Gear Room«, exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their products in an application-related context. Celebrating its premiere is the »Sound&Recording Room«, which will host two exclusive workshops of approximately four hours each day, limited to a maximum of 25 participants. Here, top engineers will give you a deep insight into their work and reveal their tips and tricks. By limiting the number of participants to 25, every participant will have the opportunity to ask questions, which can then be answered face-to-face. In contrast to the other workshops and talks, these exclusive »Sound&Recording Room« workshops are not included in the regular ticket price, but are available as strictly limited special guest tickets.

About Studioszene
Studioszene offers passionate musicians and music creators the opportunity to meet international and national engineers, to exchange ideas with them and to gain new knowledge, experience and expertise. Free yourself from old routines and break new ground in order to increase your own creativity! In a total of 50 workshops and talks over the course of two days, established engineers and producers will show you how to create good sound in front of the microphone, how to deal with various problems in the recording, mixing or mastering process and document how a finished track is created at the end. Our talks will discuss not only music and audio production but also everything to do with the music business. We have invited both top-class nationally and internationally renowned engineers as well as underground freelancers to Studioszene to talk about their work and everyday studio life.

In addition, top manufacturers from the studio industry will present their products and innovations on site. Their product specialists will be available for discussions, product demos and application-related questions. Of course, gear talk and gear porn will also be available!
Why I have to visit Studioszene!
Networking.Know-how.Gear! These are the three decisive arguments. Studioszene attracts an ambitious specialist audience with whom you can talk shop and exchange ideas. The event thus offers a platform where contacts can lead to joint projects and jobs. After all: nothing is more important in the audio industry than networking.
In workshops and in face-to-face conversations you can gather new ideas, experience new creative approaches as well as gain a lot of experience and insights – to integrate into your work in the future.
Additionally, the top audio manufacturers’ products will be available for hands-ons. Product specialists will introduce you to the software and hardware, will explain their products’ features and will answer your application-related questions.
Cologne – more than just Alaaf!
