Women In Live Music

Malle Kaas is a sound engineer and based in Denmark. Malle has been in the industry for more than 20 years working national and international for respectable rental companies like Britannia Row, TSE ag etc. as well as multiple festivals and venues. Malle has also toured with artists like Simply Red and Chrissie Hynde etc. In 2018 she co-founded the European organisation Women In Live Music for women working backstage in production, Logistics and technique. Malle has for the past 10 years looked into the missing diversity backstage where only a number of 5 % non-male are represented and worked assiduously for a more sustainable diverse backstage along with Women In Live Music.
